The Nintendo DS Lite is one of the most popular handheld gaming systems around, contending with the Sony PSP. The DS comes with two screens, including one to watch the action of your game and another that serves as a touch screen, giving you unique control over your character or the game world. What the DS doesn't have that the PSP does is the ability to play movies. Of course, this is an issue that can be alleviated with a little ingenuity and some special hardware.

Step 1
Place the MicroSD card into your computer's MicroSD card slot.

Step 2
Insert the CD containing the Moonshell software that came with the M3 Adapter. Alternatively, you can download the software from the M3 Website.

Step 3
Copy the software from the CD and paste it onto your computer.

Step 4
Unzip (if necessary) or open the file folder containing the software and copy and paste it onto the MicroSD card's folder, along with any DGP video files (video files can be converted to DGP format using various converters available online.)

Step 5
Take the MicroSD card out of your computer and insert it into the card slot on the M3 Adapter, which looks just like a DS game cartridge.

Step 6
